Description

The heroes monument of Măneciu-Pământeni was erected after World War I by the sculptor Temistocle Vidali of Ploiești. The work depicts an eagle with outstretched wings, a symbol of victory, and the marble plaques on its sides carry the carved names of the 108 heroes of the village who fell in the war.
